Spool Support Kit

The Spool Support Kit adds to the fluidity of the entire extruder assembly. It repositions the spool support arm parallel to the build plate with the use of the supplied steel mounting bracket. This reduces the height of the machine by approximately 5 inches (depending on the diameter of your spool), but more importantly, it keeps the spool moving freely by eliminating the Bowden tube and the printed bracket.

By utilizing the spool support kit, you relieve the working load (due to friction) that the extruder encounters when having to pull the filament through the printed bracket and Bowden tube. The spool support kit provides a direct path into the extruder without any restrictions.
