The wire harness guide has been designed to position the harness away from the front of the extruder to behind and under the extruder motor. This gives you clear and direct access to the tension lever arm and stops the harness from rubbing against the extruder. The new position of the harness also adds an extra layer of safety, in that it eliminates stress on the heater cartridge since it’s no longer a pivot point at the end of the harness, so no more twisting of the harness by the constant movement of the extruder during printing. Most of all it cleans up the look of the machine.
